On October 31, 2024, as part of CARTIF’s 30th-anniversary celebrations, the innovative CATCO2NVERS project was presented to a diverse audience during a special open day. The CARTIF project contribution is focused on converting CO₂ into biomethanol as a sustainable alternative fuel, which was the main topic to captivate attendees with its potential to address pressing environmental challenges. CARTIF, a key partner in the project, showcased its pioneering role in developing the cutting-edge technology behind this transformation.

The presentation, led by researchers María Andérez, Ana Urueña, and David Díez, aimed to engage the general public and highlight the significance of scientific advancements in tackling climate change.
