On 6th February, the “Fissati per la #CO₂” conference took place at the Politecnico di Torino, organised by the NODES project “GRIP.” The event focused on CO₂ capture and utilisation, covering topics such as emissions reduction, climate change, and innovative technologies. HYSYTECH attended as a partner, presenting its advancements in Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) technologies.
HYSYTECH highlighted several projects it has been involved in, including CATCO2NVERS, RECODEH2020, OCEAN, ENGICOIN, and others. The CATCO2NVERS project aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the bio-based industry by developing innovative technologies based on electrochemical, enzymatic, and thermochemical catalytic processes. These technologies convert waste CO₂ into valuable chemicals for applications in the chemical, cosmetics, and plastics industries.
The project is expected to have significant environmental and economic impacts, including reducing CO₂ emissions, enhancing process efficiency, and creating new business models for CO₂ utilisation. By showcasing CATCO2NVERS at the event, HYSYTECH reinforced its commitment to sustainability and the development of pioneering solutions for a greener future.
