CATCO2NVERS was represented at the 5th International Symposium on Porous Organic Polymers (POPs 2025), held in Enshi, Hubei (China), from 24 to 28 August 2025. Dr Eva M. Maya of CSIC delivered a prestigious Keynote Lecture entitled “Tailor-made Hyper-Crosslinked Polymers (HCPs) for Environmental Applications.”
Her presentation explored the synthesis, characterisation, and application of innovative hyper-crosslinked polymer (HCP) catalysts, highlighting their potential for environmental solutions. Importantly, the talk showcased several catalysts developed within the CATCO2NVERS project, underlining their role in advancing sustainable CO₂ conversion pathways.
The participation at POPs 2025 provided an excellent platform to disseminate project results, strengthen international collaboration, and demonstrate how cutting-edge polymer research can address pressing environmental challenges.
